My piece is a tribute to the Konami game Circus Charlie:

 I hadn't had much experience with this game on a nostalgia level-I was aware of when I was a kid but

I needed a refresher. 

From what I gather the game is an existential horror story starring

 the titular clown (you) whose whole life consists of running  and jumping through a never ending series of flaming hoops, compelled by the scrolling of the screen, a metaphor for man's struggle in a painful existence in the constant face of the oblivion of non-existence. It was no doubt inspired by the works of Samuel Beckett. It also has monkeys.

I was asked to do portraits of three comedians: Don Rickles, Chris Farley, and Adam Sandler.
